A very enjoyable commission work.
One of my friends had this marble piece they kept in the family and that has a special sentimental value for her.
It was typically put on top of dressers depending on where they lived. She asked me if I could design and make a coffee table out of it.

I came up with this asymmetric design and radius legs and the combination of walnut and brass (which I wanted to try for a long time).
The body is walnut and the ends are 3/4 brass that I custom made so they end up flush with the surface of the marble. The build was not easy but I learned a lot - as usual -
